Course Objectives

This course equips learners with the essential skills and knowledge to install and commission residential single phase air conditioning systems below 10kW.

Participants will gain a solid understanding of safe work practices, compliance testing, visual inspections, and the identification of non compliance defects.

Through hands on practical sessions, learners will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge directly by installing and commissioning residential single phase air conditioning systems. By the end of the course, participants will be confident in performing installation and commissioning tasks to industry standards, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability.

Course Content

• Plan installation procedures in accordance with the installation manual
• Conduct compliance test runs using measuring tools in line with standard operating procedures
• Check operating conditions of the air?conditioning system using the test run data sheet
• Rectify malfunctions in accordance with the installation manual
